Another test run

It's Monday the 1st of May and I've fiddled with the theme and background several times in the last eight days, and every single time I've wondered whether it's the tool or the user that had (has?) deteriorated.

No matter what size I make the picture(s) or what the raw settings are for anything I want to use as a background they all turn out looking like shite.

Which, with a little work and the addition of a certain bloke end up looking like this.

Except it doesn't, 'cos it's hidden and cropped.

This font, Times New Roman in the working page, is also irritating me. Once again no matter what the setting is, i.e. Calibri in almost all publishing that I do, this is what I get.   Mmmmmm, that's odd ...in the Preview it looks like Calibri. What's goin' on?

And, don't get me started about "Tiling". What 'arken "Tiling"?! "Tiling" IS NOT HAPPENING!!!

A test run ......

.... because Blogger, after all these years, still behaves like a beta version.

Getting the background clear, i.e. the right resolution, and the correct size is proving more difficult than previous blogs.

The page also doesn't seem to fully load unless I have included text.

Therefore I am spacing this out to take up as much of the page as I can.
